The government is planning to announce the new chairman of the BBC Trust on Thursday (5 April), with tax adviser Sir Michael Lyons favourite to replace Michael Grade.

Well, it seems that the whole of the BBC is now being run by accountants aho have no idea or understanding of programme-making, so why not have one at the top as well? It's no wonder that the corporation is scared stiff to take risks these days - unlike during the High Greene era. They're all yellow-bellies!
More grey programming on radio 2 and elsewhere, no doubt.
