..assuming it isn't pre-recorded Wink

then who should take over his R2 show ?.

It should be a great show it has good music, live bands, interviews etc BUT Dermot ruins it for me at present with his awful style and chat. We need someone with some musically interest, knowledge and interviewing technique.

Please don't mention Allinson or Goodier)

Dermot has no plans to give up his Saturday show so your question is pointless.

Oh Dermot is such a fraud that pre-recording his radio show whilst appearing on TV presenting the X Factor on TV wont be a problem in his eyes.

Today he was rabbiting on about introducing new music to the Radio 2 audience. Is this the same guy who has just be made the public face of the X Factor? Still he is quite adept at hypocrisy after fronting Big Brother for all these years...........

I did use the word 'if' at the start of the question, how do we know he has no plans ?

I think Zoe Ball would fit nicely in that slot. It would be good to have a female presenter on Saturday. I wouldn't think Mark Goodier would host a show as he's under contract with Smooth and hosts the real radio chart on a Saturday
