Visited the new and improved Apple Store on Regent Street earlier this week.

Upgraded my iPod and headphones-supposedly the Shure E2C earphones are some of the best around which I bought. Have to say quality of output is fantastic.

The apple Store in London is their biggest store in the world-certainly very impreessive and well worth a visit if you like gadgets etc.

After the experience I had with my iPod I would not touch another one with a 50ft barge pole, I'm sure (I hope) they've improved since then though.

TTS-Sorry to hear this.

Could not live without my iPod-it's an essential part of my life as I have a fairly long commute to work and have to use both overland train and then the tube. My iPod makes the commute bearable.

Perhaps someone will buy you one as a present- eg Christmas or birthday etc.

I had a new MP3 player for Christmas and I'm very happy with it. Smile

I have one of those Archos ones which also plays videos and stores photographs. I find it much easier to use that the iPod and also it's more reliable so far.
Another thing about the iPod, or at least the one I had was that it didn't serve as another back up for MP3s. Once they were on the machine they couldn't be drag and dropped back onto the PC, I don't know if that is still the case with the newer models.
