Rather strange you weren't allowed to discuss the election on election day, when you aren't allowed to discuss anything but music any day Wink

The reason is the Representation of The People Act, which all broadcasters in the UK have to comply with whilst polling stations are actually open. You may have noted that there's no political discussion on any radio or TV station either when polling is still in progress. The BBC MB comes within its remit.

The same message was probably across all the boards. I certainly saw it on the 6 music boards as well.
