Last month I achieved the remarkable feat of breaking a mirror on Friday the Thirteenth.
Looking back over the time since then, I haven't noticed any particular change in my luck.
Any comments?

Ian,
Friday the 13 th is only unlucky if you are
1 - The King of france
2 - you raid the Templar Grand Lodge because you are skint.
3 - You convict the Grand Master on trumped - up charges of heresy
4 - You let said Grand Master curse you as the excecutioner lights the flames
5 You are superstitious.
As I doubt that you are exempt at least on the first count, there is no reason why Friday the 13th should be unlucky for you. _________________ Geddon

That's the optomist in you.
If you hadn't broken the mirror , you may have won the lottery, twice, or an inflatable Alex Lester or maybe even spent the most fantastic day/night out with the woman/man of your dreams. Your fairy godmother may have granted you three wishes. Newcastle United may have won the Premiership... who knows ..... ........ be careful with mirrors. |

Both my Father and my Brother were born on Friday 13th. They ended up with me. Make of this what you will! |

My late aunt (died 1997) was born on Friday, 13th (June) 1913 but it didn't seem to do her any harm.
