Remember Rod Hull and Emu on Parkinson?

"I'll break his neck - and your arm!" Laughing

Thought he was exceptionally crude last night, even by his low standards.

Went to bed after five minutes!

Ian.

I hate the way you can almost predict who the guests are going to be each week, especially those who are doing the rounds to plug their latest book, film, TV, whatever. The same old formula week after week. Boring!

It veered between funny stuff and excruciatingly embarrassing stuff. That Janice Dickinson was bloody annoying, but ALW's Sarah Brightman "joke" that he brought along was cringeworthy.

Still, Regina Spektor seemed lovely and at least the comedy guest wasn't from the production company (as usual).

I can't get over Fiona Phillips saying about Regina Specktor on GMTV, 'She's got lovely teeth', and it was clear that Phillips was saying this in the sarcastic Julian Clary sense!

At least Specktor wasn't a fortysomething woman acting like a giddy teenager in the presence of stars from her youth (e.g. Donny Osmond).

It's been like that for quite a while now, if there is a female guest on it will be the latter and may involve some groping. I usually watch his introduction, stand-up bit at the start , which is usual good, and then switch off.
