If his presence makes his comrades an increased target for incoming threats then he should stay out of the front line, but I assume these matters were considered when he first entered military training at Sandhurst. I cannot believe that this matter would ever take politicians, military leaders and the royal family by surprise. Unless they really cannot engage in joined-up thinking.

Prince Harry isn't going to Iraq now too save himself and his men.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prince Harry will not be sent to Iraq, the head of the British army has said.

General Sir Richard Dannatt said the prince's deployment would pose an "unacceptable" threat to him and the men who served alongside him.

It had been reported that militant groups had planned to kill or kidnap the young royal.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think you need to blame the press over exposing him to this. There should have been a complete news black out regarding his deployment?

What can they do? Perhaps they should consider getting out into the real world, getting jobs on their own merits and doing something useful for society rather than riding on the backs of the rest of us.

HARRY IN CLUB BAN: Prince Harry has now been banned from nightclubs - for fears of a backlash while his men are under fire in Iraq...

Isn't that Amy Winehouse's territory?

Perhaps we should send her to Iraq--- A lagered-up Amy brandishing an Enfield SA-80 would scare the seven bells out of the terrorists....it scares me Shocked

She wouldn't need the rifle - just get her to start singing "Rehab" through a loudhailer and the militants will soon call it quits! Laughing

Bar takins around the West End will suffer badly as a result of this ban. It might be a bonus for the takeout business though!
