from the Fox News science & evolution website (which is curiously very good)
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,185704,00.html?sPage=fnc.science/evolution
Chicken will grow teeth when pigs can fly.
Well, better start searching the skies for flying pork scientists have discovered a mutant chicken with a full set of crocodile-like chompers.
Researchers also tweaked the genes of normal chickens to grow teeth.
The mutant chick, called Talpid, also had severe limb defects and died before hatching.
Although it was discovered 50 years ago, no one had ever examined its mouth.
"What we discovered were teeth similar to those of crocodiles not surprising as birds are the closest living relatives of the reptile," said Mark Ferguson of the University of Manchester, England. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I'm surprised some on-the-up TV exec hasn't thought about putting "That's Life" back on the schedules.... _________________ Author: To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992

Its called the Six o'Clock News these days. A mix of light hearted human interest stories with presenters who think they are funny and much walking around the set. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
