I stayed with this for 6 minutes till i could stand it no longer.
Chocolate Willy jokes which went on and on despite not being funny whatsoever.
Her mother who keeps asking are you married and some woman who works in the shop who was basically nauseating.

I have made a resolution NOT i repeat NOT subject myself to any more of this dire excuse for entertainment.

How do these people get away with it AND what really gets my goat is the BBC actually pay them.

I need to lie down now and calm down.

I would rather have 30 minutes of feedback than this....honestly i would!!

I got really frustrated with this too - it belonged to the Dinnerladies school of sitcom where they think repeating a word over and over (for Wood's 'torpedo' or 'minnellium', read 'chocolate willy') is really funny.

It's like my seven-year-old niece constantly yakking on for thirty minutes - give Stuart Maconie an extra hour, or repeat The Record Producers!

I have to agree guys. I don't dislike Miranda as she can be quite good in some of the other stuff she's done (appearances with Jack Dee and Lee Mack for instance) but this was just dreadful.

And what followed it wasn't much better either, that internet blog thing. Neither of these I think work particularly well on radio and hence should be sent elsewhere

Yes this is another dreadful "comedy" hour show. Poor old Stuart must curse his disappearing audience as everyone switches off and forgets to switch back on at 2pm.

Yep, I'm one of them - thankfully there's Listen Again, at least, when I can find time to use it before the following weekend! Smile
