Really enjoyed listening to RA sitting on for Ken Bruce today.

Great music played-perhaps Gary Bones just let's Richard get on with it re music chosen/played.

Thought pop master was brilliant and enjoyed the story re health and safety officials and the dangerous loo roll holders.

Looking forward to hearing RA for the rest of the week in this slot.

Is a virtual Richard Allinson covering himself on BFBS whilst he covers for Ken Bruce?

RA's stunt double Richard Hutchinson is covering for RA this week.

Interestingly enough Richard Hutchinson is one of the bosses at BFBS.

I enjoyed RA this morning, I also enjoy KB so at least, IMHO, it's one good presenter sitting in for another; enjoy your hols Ken.

It took less than thirty seconds into the show yesterday for RA to cut his sentence short and finish with "yeah - that one" whatever that's supposed to mean.

I turned the radio off at that point.

Indeed-he's not a bad dj in fact, but not as good as Richard Allinson of course.

The thing with Allinson today is he played "Call Me Al" then made a comment about Chevy Chase, and both discussions about John Wayne had a comment about him really being called Marion. Now, this may be the sign of a good DJ able to tell what his audience is thinking but I just find it a bit predictable and cliched.
