A German man has tried to jump into Benedict XVI's popemobile during his weekly general audience held in St Peter's Square at the Vatican.

It wouldn't have gone that fast if he tried to drive off with it.  There always is someone who trys to kill the Pope. Apparently the pope never saw the incident. I didn't realise he was deaf and blind. |

If he is really infallible, he should have seen something.

But does he sure play a mean pinball?
I like to think the guy who jumped in was reacting badly to Tori Amos's creeping letter to the Pope, asking him to come and see her tour. As far as I know she doesn't encore with a cover of 'My Lovely Horse'.
