I've just heard a "lets conserve water" ad on local radio. I wouldn't mind except I'm running out of things to conserve it in, such as being the rainfall over the last 2 weeks.
Maybe if the whole country turns into a lake that will be enough conservation. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I think I've seen the sun once in the last two weeks, and had to travel across to the West Coast for that!
If this keeps up I'm going to be growing webbed feet before long. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Ironically with all the burst drains & sewage leaks we may be short of clean drinking water soon. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Flash floods don't help with the water shortage and downpours as it bounces off the ground. |
