And they are still all out there. Shall we start doing scenes from "The Shining"? Come out come out wherever you are and wielding kitchen knives.... if they are Jezzas exiles we will hear about that on Monday.

Hi,

Most of the 'guests' are probably not real people but some sort of 'search machine', in the admin screens yesterday I noticed about 20 of them with very similar IP addresses beginning 74..... which source from USA. Our admin believes they do no harm but like others on here I find them very annoying so I've zapped their access. Hopefully now we might only see 2 or 3 guests at any one time.

As for Scott, well we do keep in touch and he knows I won't let him back on here while he still relentlessly bombards other radio forums with his R2 Sunday-bashing, organist-bashing, FNIMN-bashing, and ranting about the Frances Line and Jim Moir eras blah blah.

Is Scott still ranting? Well this is the most recent thread he started at Digital Spy Radio Forum as member London Eye Rolling Eyes :

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=582485

It is an entertaining thread because Scotty forgets how old he is more than once. Razz

If some of the R2ok members really do miss such discussion on here then just pop over to Digital Spy occassionally and contribute over there Smile but hopefully you'll come right back here! Wink

Good work John on the "guests" front.

Have to say found it rather creepy sometimes dipping into this board only to find about 30 guests looking in.

Hi John W. Just read that Scott thread. Same old same old, with a new audience for his re-cycled themes. I used to laugh when he told about his life on the old Radio 2 MBs. Married, divorced, single, gay, father of Scott Jr, you name it, that was our Scott! Cool

He is still arguing for Pete Mitchell to take over from Ken Bruce despite his comically inept weekend shows. I miss Scott sometimes just because of his persistence in defending the indefensible. Laughing Not enough to want him back though Wink

heh, heh, well as I say we can discuss things with Scotty over there

http://www.forum.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=62

but there is very little discussion about Radio 2, and I guess we know why Wink

For a thread commenting on how quiet the boards are, it is interesting that it is 1 of only 2 (excluding the stickies) threads that have gone over 1 page in the last 20+.

It is jolly quiet! Perhaps we should have a naked happy hour to pull in the punters?

In my case, Rachel, not a good idea.

Presumably you were at Glastonbury then, plenty of mud there, not so sure about the Jelly though!

<Cough> I meant "naked happy hour" in the "Naked Chef" kind of way. A bit of this, a bit of that, a splash of the other, a drizzle of honey, then pop it in a suitable container, warm to just the right temperature and enjoy: the punters would lap it up.. I'm sure Wink
