Just getting back on thread for a sec... (never thought you'd read that in one of my posts,eh folks?!)
Nearly piddled myself on Monday morning when Sarah Kennedy uttered the immortal line "I swear by echinacea- it's wonderful for colds, coughs etc"
If it's so great, how come you're always off with a cough or cold, ya mad old biddy???

That was this morning's ailment wasn't it- caused by the high heels she wore to Ascot
Has she mentioned that she went to Ascot, by the way?
I'm amazed she manages to get out of bed in the morning- what with all the aches, pains, viruses and other maladies that are affecting her on a daily basis 
It's fortunate she isn't one of her precious gee-gee's.... If she was a horse, they'd have shot her long ago

I think it was yesterday morning SK read out some compliment that had been written about her show and then afterward said, people very rarely say anything nice about her show. On a day when half the Country was up to its knees in water, she played, "I can't stand the Rain" and "Girl on the Roof". Brilliantly funny, well it would have been if no one had died.
Having said that her show is much better than it used to be, even if she does play the odd cat noise and SM & MR trailers just to annoy me 
When Lynn Bowles is part of it , there's no chance of it being a bad show. |

Yeah, but did she mention Ascot? I know she's been really quiet about it
Rachel, I'm not sure she always understands the irony with some of the music that's played- poor old soul... do you think the production team tuck a blanket around her legs before the show starts?
