I've never made any secret of my usual indifference to Lulu as a presenter but the selection that she played on Sunday Love Songs yesterday was simply peerless. The items by Kate Bush, the Mindbenders, the Troggs, 10cc and Louis Armstrong were alone worth the listen.

Would the producer have made up the whole programme or would Lulu have had any say over what was played?

Ian.

I would expect the production team would have put the show together and Lulu comes in and voices it.

seems like a pretty standard late night ILR track listing to my ear. Or something you could hear on Magic most hours.

Yeah, but I suppose it depends when you hear it. It wouldn't be my sort of thing for a working day, but maybe it works on a lazy Sunday morning.
