| Bob Harris will be away from radio 2 for the next few months while he gets treatment for cancer-I know you will be as shocked as I was on hearing this news,and I pray to God that we wil hear Bob on the radio again.We cannoit afford to lose people like him. |

Iain-I think you are a little late here-we knew this a while ago -see other threads please.
Bob assured us live while on air he will only be away for a short time and that this was no big deal-he will return in a short space of time.
As you say though we can't be losing yet such a fine professional presenter.

I think this has been discussed in another thread. As usual Iain likes to be the centre of attention when it comes to ill heath.
