This is fabulous! from what I've heard so far at least, mistakes an'all.

I can't get it very good at all on Medium Wave but on line is perfect.

I love all the old music ( of course, it IS the best! Very Happy ) and even the news slot has a little echo just like the originals!

Great to hear Johnnie Walker clowning around and I hope I'll remember to tune in tonight between 9 and 12 to listen to his show.

I really wish this could be a permanent feature on FM, I'd drop Radio 2 like a stone the way it's going. Evil or Very Mad

"Please Mr Custer" haven't heard that for a long while! Laughing

Just one mega song after the other and I find myself singing along to all of them.
For me, this is what radio should be like! good rockin' music and fun! even the dj's describing what's happening around them in the harbour is interesting.
If this was to bring back memories of just how good those days were, it's done the trick for me 100%.

Should I tune back to Radio2 to hear the hits of today?..........nah. Very Happy

LEP, I think this'll work ( courtesy of Helen M. Very Happy )

http://www.bbc.co.uk/essex/content/articles/2007/08/01/pirate_schedule_feature.shtml

Use the "listen live" on the left at the top.

Last night's Johnnie Walker show from 9 - 12 was utterly fantastic radio - mistakes an' all! Laughing .
all music from 64 - 67.

Thanks for that Santafefan. Listening to Dave Cash at the moment. Looking foreward to Johnnie Walker afterwards.

Me too! Laughing Rosko was great too this afternoon.

I just realised that on my "Realplayer" thingy that appears when listening live, you can move the slider back to hear a bit again if you want! then forward again to go back to "live" Very Happy magic....

You know I didn't know you could do that either. I rarely use the Realplayer on it's own these days!
