Depends whether she took her shoes off first. With shoes on is disgusting, shoes off is ok.

She should be fined. I witnessed this the other day on a Park & Ride bus when some scruffy student type put his feet up on the seat. I wanted to say something to him but decided not to and just boiled instead.
Take off shoes first?? no way... that's even worse.
It's just plain bad manners.

I, for one, do not want this arrogant oik to be involved in the moral guidance of my grandchildren. I hope the local guide leader assesses her actions and reviews her suitability as a role model for children.

No I don't think it is a waste of taxpayers' money; putting your feet on seats on public transport in indeed a disgusting habit and if a few people are prosecuted, maybe the message will get through - it won't any other way, I don't suppose.
And no, we haven't all done it. Such a common, and inaccurate excuse. |
