After 3000+ postings I was hopeful that the forum had settled down but the actions of one poster has led the forum management to publish rules and a naughty step.

I am saddened that the rules were felt necessary and I see that section as a 'blot of the landscape' of the forum.

I sincerely wish that as this forum grows it will be seen as a respectable place for mature discussion and maybe one day the rules/naughty section can be removed, deemed superfluous, and that the initial policy statement posted here on Day 1 will serve as the only guide necessary for members.

I want to thank members for their contributions and support, and hope we will posting here peacefully for a long time to come.

Hey, Naughty Section wasn't my idea. We've got a very inventive admin person who's seen how other forums have had to operate.

I should have said Scott on the Landscape which would have been more accurate Confused

Anyway, I do want to see the rules dropped sometime inthe future, very much depends on you matey.

What about "Ella"? He/she has also received a warning, therefore why is he/she not in the Naughty Room as well? Please justify your actions.

To be honest.... since the rules came into effect today, they only came into effect when I felt the need to put a system in place so we knew how to deal with multiple warnings.

I hadn't thought of Ella, but in all fairness, I will add her warning to the section now.
