So we hear that the legal age to buy fags is about to be increased to 18. My local Tesco already has "Are they 21" signs for Alcohol.
Fair enough, but no one has mentioned Marriage or the Armed Forces. Still legal at 16?
What's wrong here?

I would think it's purely to cut future expense to the NHS?
I'd raise the limit even higher or happily ban it all together.
None of my smoking staff have suffered from the recent ban and, they're not allowed to smoke outside either. They haven't complained.

That wasn't the point. Are your staff giving birth outside? Smoking and drinking affects people, but if we think about it, having kids and dying for the Country affects even more.
