I see Stuart has his own TV show on ITV 3 tonight (16/9) at 9pm.
A programme called Stuart Maconie's TV Towns-"the critic casts his eye over locations featured in productions for the small screen".
I might just tune in. |

It's the 3rd(?) one in the series tonight Mark. Newcastle was the first one and Manchester was the next.

Hi Helen-Sorry to be slow to be on the uptake here-I must have been "sleeping" when the previous shows were on. |

I only saw the first one as I happened to read the RT 'properly' that weekend and my Mum rang to tell me it was on just after I'd read about it! Being a Geordie it was 'essential' viewing to try and recognise the places!

Ain't that right! So annoying that Freeview is limited as to what they can fit on, but they still find space for "quiz" channels, shopping channels, and "adult" rubbish. |

That's because they pay for the bandwidth. |

I saw the Newcastle episode, but I missed the Manchester one.
I wished he'd had the location of the Beehive store on the Birmingham episode, as they had a pre-Move Bev Bevan working there with his chum Bobby Davies (later to become famous as Jasper Carrott)! _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.
