Wrap up well now, & put an extra cardie on!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7017033.stm
Winter in the UK will be colder than last year - one of the warmest seasons on record, the Met Office has said.
Forecasters are also expecting far less rain than last year, which was exceptionally wet _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

But longer-range forecasts have been hilariously hitty-missy in recent years!

WTF? We had nothing but comments that 06/07 was a mild winter! I wish these scientists would make their minds up.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

This year "Global Dimming" is the thing... cos it's the cure to Global Warming......you put as much junk into the atmosphere as possible which stops the sun reaching ground level and has a really useful cooling effect for the globe as a whole ....so do your bit ... get in your car and go that extra mile ...... bonfires ( it's nearly that time) help too... especially if you put old car tyres on them ..... |

For a minute there I thought we were going to get a critique on the current "I dunno" culture prevalent in our society today....
