To whoever the admin guy is - if you're going to have a Moderator on here who's going to delete/modify threads, tell people off and ram the House Rules down our necks as soon as anyone posts a negative thread on here, then you might as well close this forum down. People will not post on here if they're going to be told off each time they are "negative". I can understand if people are posting abusive threads but when the Moderator likes to show his authority, that's something else.

Ernie, I think John Wright has let the power go straight to his head. Talk about overdoing it. I hope Derek Sims registers on here...he'll create a storm.

Scott,

I've explained the reasons for the several message removals on the gripe threads. Your initial gripe messages remain as promised.

Also on the SW thread there's a reminder of the policy you signed up to when you joined. If you don't agree with the respect policy then you are free to leave.

John might go a bit OTT at times, but hang in there. He is only trying to stop this place descending into the pits like the BBC site did.

Did you have to write that in red crayon? You most certainly have let the power go to your head.

I would have thought people are even less likely to post if they visit and find nothing but loads of negative posts.
Surely it can't be that difficult to follow the rules.

Not necessarily. So long as the negative criticisms are valid and not abusive then I cannot see any problem.

"Steve Wright is a pillock. I cannot believe that slimeball is still on Radio 2 preaching to us with his Americanisms and 80s Yuppie charisma. Sack, just sack."

Well, I'd consider anyone who called me a 'pillock' or a 'slimeball' to be offensive. I have already posted one message on this board which wasn't particularly charitable to SW but I don't intend to descend to name calling.

YMMV.

Well Scott, if we were to have a vote on which poster behaved most like SW it would have be you, substitute 2003 for 1985 Razz
