Prince has threatened to take legal action against fan-run websites unless they remove photographs of him.

A fan group, Prince Fans United, claims the star is trying to "stifle all critical commentary" and he is in "violation of the freedom of speech".

But Web Sheriff, the UK firm the pop star has hired to enforce the ban, said it was "not an attack on fans".

In September, Prince took action against video sharing website YouTube to remove clips of his London concerts.

If there's been a breach of copyright, then he's perfectly within his rights to demand their removable from websites.

Mind you, as Scott, says, he is a freak. I understand he's called "Prince" again now? In which case, he's "The artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as Prince"?

Ooops! I thought this was about Prince Harry and some birds. Sad

The artist formerly known as 'Scott' or 'Scotty' now wishes to be known as 'SomelikeitScott' and should be so addressed in future postings here.

He should have let someone else do a remix of 'Why Should I Love You' (the track that he got his production hands on rather too much on Kate Bush's 'Red Shoes' album).

I don't understand why he's being such a big baby.
