admin told me it's very complicated to set the clock, and I didn't really understand the reasons nor how to re-set it. Confused

The operators of the domain who control the admin of this board are giving you porkies. It's very, very easy to reset the clock in phpBB. They obviously can't be bothered.

firewirefred,

When I said 'Admin' I was referring to our Technical Manager, the member Admin who set up this forum.

He is mainly AWOL but did leave me a method in the archive folders, so I'll try and check it out later, but I do struggle with some of the features on here. The R3ok forum is much easier to manage though admittedly there have been more occasions/requests to use them over there Smile

Soz fred, I was confusing this with another forum.

members can choose Timezone from their own profile.

Mark, I don't know how to fix a few minutes wrong time but not important.

I think you go to the clock and move it to the correct time. Where ever this maybe?

Not me, iknew, it's 1.16pm here (ok maybe a couple of minutes fast)

If you go to your profile see if GMT is selected in the pull down menu Rolling Eyes

Just a note/reminder to new folks that the 'time' on this form has to be manually set in your profile (link near top of page). In UK you should set it to GMT from today.

I like the idea of winter Razz but not in reality, particularly with all the rain Sad
Two big black hairy dogs who seem to drag in 2 gallons of water on their paws doesn't help either!
But is it sometimes nice to get the day over and settle down in front of the box with the wind blowing outside.

The BBC are hopeless.

I've just been over to post on a Beeb messageboard and it's closed, presumably because they think it's 10.00pm when in fact it is just 21:09 Rolling Eyes
