I think it was for Bannister that DLT gave his job in and I think this is wrong he should come back and I like him. Bannister is hopeless man, no good. Is that why he is not radio manager any more because he is rubbish?

DLT was rubbish on Radio 1! He made weekend mornings sound like a yawn fest. Thank goodness Danny Baker freshened them up!

I think not! DLT was the sort of guy who would go home after his show to his pipe, slippers and a bowl of soup whereas Danny Baker would head straight for the pub to meet pals Chris Evans and Gazza for a few pints! Cool

Whatever station it is, it's bound to be one that has rescued ex-Radio 1 dinosaurs.

They are two talentless gits. One of them I think should come to Radio 2 then at least there would be one program on Radio 2 that I could listen to and not have to complain about. That's my problems you see. I have no friends, just spend my life in internet forums abusing people.
By the way, I don't think you're Spanish at all but it took me a while to work it out!!

Buenos Notches!!

They're not old men, they're radio legends: Chris Evans on the left and Danny Baker on the right

To return to the title of this thread, How are the mighty fallen! Once the scourge of decent radio presenters, leaving blood on the radio 1 carpet, and inflicting Evans and Baker on an unsuspecting public, now a bit sub presenter. In a word, Justice!

I agree. He's now a jobbing presenter who's gald to be able to earn a crumb here and there. What goes around comes around.

There are lots of people in the BBC who are very pleased to see how Bannister is getting on these days!

Serves the ********* right.
