I was stunned to switch my car radio on at 7.30am to hear Sarah Kennedy still wittering on! There was a problem with Wogan's studio, which is why Sarah was on until 7.40am. Wogan then came on (after Sarah played Rod Stewart "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy") sounding out of breath. Sarah seemed to think the whole thing was hilarious and wouldn't stop laughing.
I have to say that I was impressed with the way she handled her 10 minutes of overtime! She wasn't that bad! If she always sounded that perky and chirpy then she wouldn't sound so boring on the radio.
Credit where credit is due. Just count yourselves lucky it wasn't Mo Dutta being on the air instead of SOTS or Good Morning Sunday! I'm sure that would go down like a lead balloon!  |

She sounded rather perky this morning reading a poem about Kingfishers (prompted by an item on the news) at 0605. It made a change from the usual complaints about travelling into central London in the early hours.

| Maybe she doesn't like driving in the dark. I always car share in winter so I don't have to drive when it's dark wet and cold. I guess for SK to do the same she'd have to team with another presenter who lived nearby and do more of a chat show. |

She doesn't live far from the studios in the week, and goes home at the weekends.
I did hear her mention she would love to go to Japan. I hope her bloke makes her wish come true? |
