Loved the performance of "Through the Living Years" this morning by Paul Carrick and Maggie Bell. Spontaneous, unrehearsed, unbacked but really great listening. Anybody catch it? |

Yes I did Minx and thought it was really good too.
I'm disappointed that celebrity pop master is finishing as it is one of the few times during the day when you hear different songs.
Take the New Seekers, I know they're not to everyones taste but I think they did some good songs. Ken played them when they were on and said he was looking forward to playing some stuff from their new album (when it's released).
Honestly the chances of that happening are zero sadly. |

Hi all........!
I too think that the celebrity popmaster has been particularly interesting and entertaining. I also find it astonishing how little many of the musical artists know about anything outside of their own careers.
Maggie Bell's gaffe yesterday when she was relating the story of how John Hannah (sp?) asked her if her acting role in Taggart would end in her being stabbed to death or shagged to death without realising she was on air was hilarious, as was Jean Michel Jarre acouple of weeks ago when he started to get really "peesed orf" when he couldn't think of the answer!
Still, no offence though. I mean, Radio 2 is an adult station isn't it? |
