Just a heads up for anyone who has SKY and has access to Music Choice. For today and this weekend only you can access the Music Choice Extra, channel 396, for FREE!

There are 48 channels so hopefully something for everyone. Smile

Thanks for that Helen. I've had a look and lots to choose from the current pop genres and the last 40 years. I don't see any jazz, nor decades pre Rock'n'Roll but there are three classical stations (playing short pieces and odd movements of concertos or symphonies).

Ooh, ta. If only I was in this weekend I'd be able to take advantage!

I've always fancied the Film Music channel but don't want to pay £4.99 a month for it.

I'm not near it just now but I'm sure there were a couple of channels for Jazz, John.

Not sure if I'd pay the extra as it's not something I use that often. I did wonder what was on offer though!

You're right there are a couple of jazz stations, in the Classics section (Classics not Classical, confusing eh?) mainly smooth jazz in Jazz Classics and Cool Jazz, also lounge music which was playing Shirley Bassey, Billy May etc. Don't see any playlists on the website.

I won't be persuaded to sign up, in the main all the music is heard elsewhere, but have it on right now - day off Smile

I was thinking of recording some stuff on to the DVD recorder. You wouldn't know who the artist was but if it's good to listen to it doesn't really matter!
