London station Heart 106.2 is drafting in four presenters to shake up its schedule in the new year.
The station's programme director, Mark Browning, has recruited 25-year-old DJ Matt Wilkinson from Nottingham's Trent FM to host the Global Radio station's 7pm to 10pm slot.
Wilkinson joins in February to take on a slot in which the competition includes Capital Radio's Lucio and Magic's Danny Pietroni.
He replaces Paul Hayes, who has signed a new contract with Heart and will continue to present the Club Classics shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Hayes has worked at Heart for four years.
Heart has signed up three other new DJs, including TV presenter Natalie Pinkham, who will host a new Friday show between 4pm and 6pm, Feelgood Friday.
Pinkham hit the headlines last year when the Sun apologised for using wrongly dated pictures of her with Prince Harry in a nightclub.
The other new presenters who will both be taking weekend slots are Natalie B and Abbie Eastwood.
In another change to Heart's offering, Simon Beale's evening show from 10pm to 1am will be rebranded from the Late Show to Heartbreakers, which will "showcase new as well as classic ballads".
Today's changes follow this week's announcement that Heart's drivetime DJ, Emma B, has signed a new two-year deal and will also present a new Sunday afternoon show replacing the axed A List chart show.
And last week Heart's rival Capital announced a presenter shakeup for the new year that sees controversial evening DJ Bam Bam dropped from the schedules and Margherita Taylor returned to a daily morning slot.

Whats the point in reproducing an article about people who nobody here (including yourself) has ever heard of? |

I for one am unconcerned about the comings and goings of small provincial stations far too far away to worry about. _________________ Geddon
