I went to Tesco today and couldn't help noticing they they were flogging their mince pies at 40p a box Laughing
This is half price of the half price I guess, in other words they are desperate to get rid of them, no doubt to make room for the easter eggs Rolling Eyes

Noticed also that M&S had lots of Christmas Cakes, stollens, puddings etc left over and being reduced by 50%. These always have a much longer life than the relatively short dates that Marks put on them and there's no reason why such "heavy" desserts cannot still be enjoyed up until Easter.

We've still got almost all our Christmas cake and I haven't yet tired of mince pies.

But the diet resumes on 2 Jan!
