I enjoyed this final episode of the programme last night. Just the right mixture of comedy and bathos with some home truths about celebrity culture thrown in at the end. Guest stars sending themselves up included George Michael, Clive Owen and Gordon Ramsey. Good to end on a high note and not drag on endlessly which was one of the points Ricky Gervais was making about his 'show within a show' character. |

I thought it was very good too, particularly the ridiculing of the Big Brother format and it's contestants.
As Briant said, just the right balance of comedy and sadness. I admit to having a lump in my throat when he spoke to Maggie from the BB set, or was it that last pickle onion?
Even though I want to dislike Gervais, I always end up wanting more.. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
