What an insult for Richard Allinson having to cover for the cover.
Richard Allinson usually gets the Wogan cover over the Xmas period-why not this year?
Sadly I missed both shows. Listen Again feature is not up to date-hope someone at the BBC gets off their behind and gets these shows on there soonest.
Believe Richard Allinson is now covering Wogan all of next week. |

Don't know where you've been looking Mark but both yesterday and today's are there.
You need to look for Richard Hammond and you'll find the shows.

I'm sure he didn't mind. no need to be so dramatic about it. |

Thanks Helen.
I was looking at the Wogan Listen Again page. Didn't realise Hammond would have his own section.
Found it now. Thanks.
NB-Apologies for dissing the BBC-sorry guys. |

Yes Richard Hammond is listed on the A&Z too. He's part of Radio 2. |

Or perhaps his good lady didn't like the last minute Christmas gift he got her! Have a 'listen again' to the Christmas eve show to know what I'm on about there. (thinks- I wonder what he did get for her in the end - I guess we'll never find out now!!) _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Ernie-I think it is very unlikely Hammond is being groomed/lined up to take over from Wogan.
More likely to be Ross or your hero Evans. |

Excellent shows delivered by Richard Allinson of Thursday and Friday this past week.
Top class broadcasting-this is how radio should be. |

Richard Allinson is been groomed to take over from Richard Hammond. If anything Richard Hammond would be given a Saturday afternoon show and then cover for Bruce or Evans?
Allinson is better at covering for Sarah, Wogan and Wrighty. |

Richard Allinson is more than capable of covering any of the shows on Radio 2-weekdays and weekend shows.
My personal favourite is when he covers for Steve Wright in the afternoons. |

What a great idea Nod.
Richard Allinson covering for Kennedy and Wogan in the mornings-6-9.30 am and then back on again at 2-5pm covering for Steve Wright.
Now that's more like it-a much more decent daytime schedule. |

R.A. is a nice inoffensive chap in my opinion. I only want to kip on the train at that time in the morining. Whereas Alex Lester in for S.K. was brilliant. As I have been working throughout the Christmas and New Year, could put the radio on at once and drop off before 7.30.
