It is believed the 62-year-old collapsed in jail in Vietnam where he is serving a three-year sentence for abusing children.
He is under police guard and recuperating at a hospital in Benh Vien.
There is speculation that Glitter - who was diagnosed with high blood pressure last year - could be released early so he can be treated in the UK.

God would radio stations start to play his songs if he did die? |

Mark, matey, sometimes I think you use a random word generator instead of a keyboard....
Do any radio stations still play his stuff, or is he considered verboten because of his sentence? _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I've not heard a Gary Glitter song on the radio for a long time. I think everybody has tacitly agreed that it would be in poor taste, at the very least. Even the US Baseball parks have stopped using them. _________________ Ron |

Dale Winton pointedly omitted a Gary Glitter track where it would normally have cropped up on Pick of the Pops a while ago.

There again Dale omits any tune that is not to his personal taste. _________________ Geddon

I hope this doesn't mean that more needy people are less well treated in hospital than he may be - as in the case of Leslie Ash. _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.
