Does anyone else watch the One show? I must admit I like Adrian Chiles, I think he's got a good sense of humour.
I also like Hardeep Singh Kohli, he's very dry witted. Laughing

The theme tune is naff but I think the program is quite good, it's inoffensive, sometimes informative, it has funny bits, silly bits, bits that make you think and there's been some great guests.
I like it and I kind of hope it sticks around for a while.

I do quite like it. It's decent fluff, really.

However, I can't stand Hardeep - smug and unfunny, I have to turn off whenever he comes on.

Yes, after a slow and uncertain start the summer before last it has become quite enjoyable. It doesn't pretend to be something it isn't (like trying to replicate the Tonight or Nationwide of yore) - it's light and easy going and Adrian Chile's generally laid-back style (though he's not afraid to call a spade a spade sometimes) is perfect.

I have become really addicted to it. I love Adrian Chiles' throwaway humour and the diversity of topics covered.

Mrs W often drives through the village of Pity Me, County Durham, on her way to and from meetings, so last night's item on it was of much interest.

But I don't care for Hardeep Singh Kohli's smugness either.

Ian.

It's funny but I don't find Hardeep smug at all, one person's meat is another's poison I guess.

By the way there is a place near me called Six Mile Bottom. Very Happy
