I watched Coronation Street last night- Vera's funeral. I've been affected badly by what I saw. Is there a help-line for young-ish women like me who discover in the comfort of their own lounge that that Rita - very nearly the oldest woman in the world was wearing a hat the same as one I have! OMG! Has my fashion sense taken a leap into old age- will I be wearing purple next? |

Rachel, Have you sent off your application to become one of Sir Terry's TOGs or perhaps one of Gideon Coe's 'Duffers'? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Not a Corrie watcher, so difficult to comment, esp without seeing you in yours! _________________ Ron |

'Coronation Street' is ridiculous. The last refuge for repertory acting and unbelievable characters who all drink in the same pub and are living in fantasy Britain. The only thing worse on TV is 'Eastenders.' Bah humbug! |

You can be Rita's stunt double on all those high octane scenes in Coronation Street.
Look on the bright side. At least Vera wasnt wearing it! _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

This whole experience seems to have had a drastic effect on poor Rachel, within hours I found in my inbox:

Hello John,
It is with regret that I must leave the forum today; although a departure of my own volition it is with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye. I've really enjoyed my time here and shall look back on it with the fondest of memories; many thanks for having me as part of your group.
