I cracked up just now when Chris Evans, who has been shouting away like a maniac since the beginning of the show, said to Sally Traffic:

"shall we talk to a child now then Sally?" to which she responded instantly "I thought I had been Chris".

He faltered only slightly before ploughing on. Laughing Attagirl!

I swear the girl is getting sharper, more subtle and (occasionally) more subversive with every day that passes. Wink

Absolutely.

Simply put Sally is the best "traffic girl" on BBC Radio 2.

I wish that annoying woman Lynn Bowles would take lessons from Sally.

If the management show any hint of intelligence, it won't be long before she gets a prime-time show of her own Cool
No chance at all then, really Sad

Not likely after the last attempt.

Has she had a go before Ernie?

Been listening to the second half of Chris' show again! ood stuff!
Other than that I am enjoying The Jazz on DAB- typical- just as I catch on to it they're closing it!
Other than that I listen to US country radio o the net! R2 getting squeezed out!
BTW, I note there is a Traffic Radio on DAB. Is Sally the station boss? Razz

Ernie may know more, but I believe Sally once sat in over night, doing a few shows. It was by all accounts a disaster.

Sally Boazman sat in twice for Janey Lee Grace when she had the early saturday morning spot now occupied by Pete Mitchell. She also did at least one stint for Richard Allinson when he had a midweek late night show. Here she is doing one of Richard's shows.

I really like Sally Boazman-may be time for her to have another sitting in as a cover presenter.

As long as the BBC do NOT have any crazy ideas about doing the same for "the ego has landed/gobby" Lynn Bowles though.

Seems a shame if she wasn't any good....Sal always stikes me as having a good personality and wit for her own show.
Maybe she'll get another chance- I'd like to hear how she does.
