I see that CA is returning to BBC Radio 2 for the next 6 weeks starting 8/3 presenting a chat show in which a panel speak about the week's hot tpoics. Guests on the first show include Paul Sintra, Andy Parsons and Charles Kennedy.

Have the BBC given up on trying to give us a comedy show on a Saturday lunchtime-it looks like it.

I enjoy the Chat Room - usually good for a few laughs depending on the guests. Have you ever listened Mark? Do you realise it's a comedy show or are you being sarky?

Who's that then? Do you mean Perrier-award winning comedian Paul Sinha? (who, to be honest, I can't stand).

Hi Ian-My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I made my comments about comedy on Radio 2 on Saturday lunchtimes.

Did you hear todays Jammin' show-total rubbish.

Nah, haven't bothered with Jammin since Richard Vranch left (and made it pretty clear he wasn't that impressed either). Just self-indulgent rubbish nowadays.

Even 'writers' Robin Ince and Kevin Day don't think much of it.

Sorry Ian-I did mean Paul Sinha in my original posting.

Is he a funny man?

Not in my opinion, though as a gay asian doctor he ticks a lot of the boxes for getting on panel shows, as if his opinions are relevant.
