Odd for Mr Staircase to be broadcasting on air.
Wasn't he best known for giving djs the sack from Radio 1?
He's also the geezer who shut down BBC Radio London

The delightful Mr' Blood on the carpet' Bannister and his henchman Trevor 'The hatchet man' Dann' did for radio 1 what Dr Beeching did for rural transport

Eventually, he got sacked from executive job himself and has been presenting on 5Live for a few years.

He's stood in for Jeremy before, and did quite a good job.
