Both Sarah and Terry have played her this morning, but I heard neither of them mention that it's her birthday today - she's 84
Such a beautiful, clear singing voice, and one of my favourites.
In a different league, Tony Orlando is 64 today - wonder if someone later on will remember that? _________________ Ron |

Ummmm, I hate to be the one to break this to you, but both of them were at great pains to point out that it was her birthday, Sarah, both before and after she played her in the showtime slot, and Terry, immediately after he played "Secret Love". _________________ ~~~ Niblet ~~~

I picked up a Best of Doris Day tape in our local charity shop for 50p.
A great buy, with almost all the old favourites--Secret Love, the Deadwood Stage, the Black Hills of Dakota, Whatever Will Be Will Be, Move Over Darling etc etc. The only disappointment is the absence of Small Talk from the Pyjama Game, but for 50p who's complaining?
