The body of a man, believed to be missing TV presenter Mark Speight, has been found in a remote area of London's Paddington station, police have said.

Officers are treating the death as "unexplained" but have confirmed that the man had not been hit by a train.

Well, you know what? I don't feel sad at all. It's a shame that it's come to this, but if you're going to take vast amounts of class A drugs plus prescription drugs and lots of alcohol you must be prepared for the consequences. His troubles were only brought upon himself.

Unfortunaterly modern society seems to condone excesses of all kinds, including drugs. From what I can gather, at heart this pair were probably foolish, but part of that scene. Having seen what the consquences were for his fiancee he obviously was full of remorse and in the depths of despair. Depression is a very incidious thing and when you are at the bottom of a very deep, black pit, this way out sometimes seems to be the only answer. I only hope Ian that you never have cause to be in that position - (depressed not subject to excess). My heartfelt feelings go out to those whom he left behind.

From what they were saying this morning I think he had been dead for sometime, several days perhaps Sad

It's very sad this it's ended this way, I know he and his girlfriend shouldn't have dabbled in drugs, etc but it's easy to be wise after the event isn't it.

Its still a shame that he ended his life like that regardless of whatever culpability he had in the death of his partner.

I feel so sorry for his and his partner's family, to lose a son, daughter, brother or sister is so hard to come to terms with, especially at so young an age. Under these tragic circumstances it must be even worse than if they died of natural causes. I cannot understand what makes people, that it would appear have everything to live for, indulge in such excesses. I hope they are now at peace together.
