I'm about to go for a few days peace on the Northumberland coast.

Hope to be back on here next Friday or over next weekend.

All the best in the meantime.

Ian.

Sitting here in the relative shelter of inland E Midlands, where the sun shines one minute and we get lashed with hailstorms the next at the moment, I'm not sure how much peace and quiet you'll get up there, but otherwise I envy you. Have a good trip!

Thanks, all. Unfortunately the weather wasn't really conducive to sunrise photos--brrr! But the caravan was nice and warm.

Of course I set the alarm early today for the usual reason.

Sorry to add that all four of us on the break have come back with a sicky bug.

These holidays clearly don't agree with us.

Caravaning is one bug I have never caught. I like a bit of luxury! Laughing

I take your point but the caravans that we stay in now are of a much higher standard than they were in my youth.
