Hi John,

I've had problems over the last week which have either become resolved or which you have resolved for me thanks... just one point... when the problem is that you can't get on to the forum because you have been blocked out, there's no contact address available to report it!
In my case, the message said 'please contact the forum administrator', but I couldn't access the forum to find out how.
I had to go hunting around the website, fill in the contact form, then make a note of the e-mail address which then appeared, in order to send an e-mail to that address. Confused Rolling Eyes

Maybe you could put a more obvious troubleshooting link for the forums on the webpage... or maybe an e-mail address in the forum header or footer (which were visible)

Just a thought to stop anyone else having to crawl through hoops the way that I did.

Thanks for the welcome John. I hope my suggestion won't lead to spam for you too. I just know how frustrating it was to see a 'contact the administrator' message with no obvious way of doing so. I suppose an alternative would be to add it into the default messages, so that they read 'contact the forum administrator at... ' but I suspect that would take longer to set up.

I thought I recognised the piccy of the cook. You should recognise a few names on here from 'Jezzas'. As well as myself, there's Helen May, Rachel, occasionally BDG posts on here, RockitRon & Santafefan to name a few.

Hello Tube, I'd forget about the new Radio 2 Forums if I were you... I don't think it'll be there long. Laughing

Definitely. Buttoned leather chairs and cigar smoke here. There is a word association thread somewhere, however but I seldom take part.... Laughing
