I'm sure this is something about which we should be concerned but don't let's forget that the media loves to hype up anything like this.

The threat is real. But the cost of doing anything serious about it is huge. I suspect the will to act will only occur after a big disaster in a large city. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Yes Flood was Appalling. I thought it started off like Day After Tomorrow. Then we saw dinky toys falling off London Bridge. The Graphics were terrible. |

My wife picked the DVD off the supermarket bargain shelf around Christmas - it was only released in the cinema last August.
It's truly hilarious in its awfulness. If Dead Ringers was still around they'd have a field day, especially with Tom Courtenay.
Even worse, it's "only" 107 minutes long. How ITV had the nerve to stretch it out to four hours beggars sober comment. _________________ Ron |

It was absolutley hilarious That dad and daughter were the funniest, how long did they sit in the car waiting for the water to come in. And the most amusing of all the girls mother managed to get all the way from Wick in Scotland (having nearly drowned there) to Hyde park in London even though the place was gridlocked and no public transport was running, she even had time to grab a handy photograph of said dad and daughter before she fled she mast have used magic or something or hitched a ride with an angel.
Sir Tom is a great actor but god bless him he went to pieces in this, I wondered if upon realising what a dreaful drama he was in he was actually taking the pee. I liked his voice though, very nice and soft. |
