ITV has been fined a record £5.675m by Ofcom for abusing premium rate phone services in viewer competitions.
The media regulator said the fine was by far the highest ever imposed and reflected the seriousness of ITV's failures and their repeated nature.

Re the item about Ant and Dec being proclaimed winners of some award or other when it should have been Catherine Tate, the papers are alleging that Robbie Williams agreed to present the award only if Ant and Dec won it.
IF this is true, why on earth didn't the organisers show RW the door at that point? Surely no one individual was bigger than the whole event.

It turns out the BBC "forgot" to pass on £100k of Children in Need money now as well. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
