Clint Eastwood's legendary Dirty Harry character will reportedly die in a new movie.

The 77-year-old is rumoured to be planning a new instalment in the franchise, which ran for five films between 1971 and 1988.

However, The Sun claims that San Francisco cop Harry Callahan will meet his demise before the closing credits.

A source said: "Clint will make sure Dirty Harry goes out in style."

Reports had suggested that upcoming project Gran Tourino will be a sequel to the Dirty Harry movies, but it was later revealed to be a comedy.

I always wondered why the sequals weren't called Dirtier Harry, Dirtiest Harry and The Most Dirty Ever Harry!

a fantastic instant style of dealing with nasty criminals,saved costly legal fees and feeding them in jail.

Clint is one of my all time heros, I remember loving every second of the Dirty Harry films at the Cinema/Pictures/Flicks.
I was talking to a Art Gallery assistant in his home town of Carmel a couple of years back and she said he often calls by the main street shops. I confess to getting quite excited at the thought of seeing him! she added that she also works in a fast food restaurant there and he uses that on occasion too. " He's a real cool guy" Razz
