Former London Mayor Ken Livingstone has been hired to present show on London's LBC. I think he's the right man too host a show on the stations as he knows what London wants. It was a shock when he lost the Mayor job as he got us the Olympics.

Livingstone will stand in for Jeni Bennett, hosting five afternoon programmes from Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July, live from 1.00pm to 4.00pm each day.

In addition to the week of afternoon shows, Livingstone is also joining the station on a permanent basis for an as-yet unannounced programme.

Hear hear! I dread to think what that fat tit-head Boris Johnson will do to London. He's already been caught breaking the Highway Code on his bicycle. The man is a pillock and is unfit to be Mayor of London.

I give him 12 to 18 months before he's forced to stand down due to incompetence.

No worse than the previous incumbent then!

Livingstone's actually quite entertaining as a chat-show guest, but I think that nasal whine would have me reaching for the off-switch pretty sharp if he was hosting a show.

Scott is as balanced as ever. So because Boris is "fat" and broke the Highway Code on his bicylce he should resign?

Hilarious.

Ken Livingston was REJECTED by the people of London.
So LBC hires him
What is LBC- like the House Of Lords? Home to the unelectable?

Well, Boris Johnson is already tackling knife crime & yobbish behaviour on London Transport. Things that flourished under Ken.

Now you can get on a train, bus or tube without yobs throwing beer at you & walk the street with less likelihood of being knifed
Boris seems to be doing a pretty good job
