What are you guys up to this Bank Holiday weekend? I'm planning to spend it with a friend of mine. Hopefully, the weather will be fine and we can drink and be merry in public places!

Alas, clearing out the house of an aunt who died recently. I'm hoping for fine weather as well - nothing worse than a wet and muddy waste tip. _________________ Ron |

Oh, I'm sorry to hear of your aunt's death.
I hope the progress of sorting things out goes well. It's never a nice chore to do when a relative passes away. I've been thre myself. |

Commiserations, Ron
Hopefully I'll be hiring out some garden games. _________________ Geddon

I hope your weekend goes well Ron, sorry about your news.
This weekend Steve and I are going to the coast to help his parents celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary (Diamond). They are both still going strong and drive back and forth between their home in Lincolnshire and the coast where they have a holiday bungalow. Only hope that Steve and I are as happy as they are when we get to their age.
Last weekend we went to the Midlands to attend a School Reunion - 50 years since we all left school. I haven't seen some of them since 1959, so was great to catch up.

Mrs Santa Fe is away for four days at a horsey thing so I'll have to fend for myself at the take-away
( she's not a happy bunny today.. she's polished up her horse truck till it gleams but as she was backing into the yard, she brushed a high kerb and flattened one of the stainless steel wheeltrims! )
I'll be happily painting anything that doesen't move outside if the weather is good and I might go to the Strumpshaw steam rally too.. it's a good afternoon out if you like to see steam engines _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Hopefully it will get better for me, went to my uncle's funeral this morning so I'm feeling a bit sad.
I think we might go out for the day somewhere at some point, maybe a nature reserve or a re-visit to Bletchley Park.
I think I'll get my cross stitch out have have a go at that too.
Happy weekend everyone. |

Had a lousy day today with headache, so no pub
Tomorrow night themissus and I are going to a pub in Coventry to see a mate (drums) no idea what the band is playing, should be fun.
Rest of the weekend? Dunno, the weather looks disappointing. |
