Did I hear correctly on tonight's news that Buckingham Palace hasn't been rewired for 50 years? I'm sure that you or I would be open to criticism on safety grounds if we deferred our domestic rewiring for so long.

Actually one of today's papers says that Buck House hasn't been rewired for 60 years.
How is it still standing?

If she had been in the right catchment area, the Queen could have contacted Aire Valley Homes and Leeds City Council could have had it done free of charge!
Seriously though, it is disgusting that she's saying the palace hasn't been decorated in yonks.
