What are your views on the current Saturday night TV schedules BBC, ITV etc.

Imho I think they are pretty poor and tend to end up watching something on Sky-tonight I'll be watching the Masters Football.

UK Gold is good with Only Fools. Casualty is Ok, about the best thing. It is getting worse during the summer months. Hey most people are away or out.

They are pretty dire at the moment, but its summer so I suppose the tv companies don't care much.

The repeats of Foyles War are good though.

We were out last night but recorded Last Choir Standing, which we'd seen the previous Saturday and thought was fairly OK (with less chatter and more music it could have been excellent).

But overall Saturday is currently a bit of a TV desert.

I think "pretty poor" is somewhat of an understatement!! Utter carp would be more apt - I know it's the silly season, but please! Thank goodness for Sky+ and a decent cd collection....
